I have been a head coach with the Omaha Royals Select baseball program for three seasons now.  My mission is to teach each kid the game of baseball, how to become a "team" player and prepare them to make their high school team and beyond if they so desire.

I played high school baseball at Millard South where we won a summer state title in 1988.  In college I played at Kearney State, now known as University of Nebraska Kearney.

Our estimated cost per kid is $700 which includes:

-Uniforms-About 6 tournaments-Around 20 regular games-About 45 field times between Treandwood (132nd & Pacific) and Somerset just south of Lake Cunningham-Membership with the Royals organization-One hour of winter quad time and two hours of winter tunnel time for the team at Elkhorn Training Camp-All TEAM equipment as well as USSSA fees and insurance.  This leaves a significant amount of "extra" money compared to other organizations for you to pursue your own private training for your son with the coach, location and times that work best for you...but this is not required.

We plan to compete as a high AA or AAA primarily team next season.
