Ok, I apologize about this long email but lots of stuff has happened over the last couple of days and I like to get information out to as quick as I can do you can plan your life accordingly. James, welcome back buddy; good to have you back.
***Our River Cities tournament on May 6th and 7th has been canceled due to a lack of teams. It was us, Tigers Black and Tagge Navy. Brent and I have decided for the team to take that weekend off; if I can find someone else to play during that week we will do that because with baseball, we need reps and then some more reps! We will be reimbursed the $599 which will cover the State tournament fees.
***This weekend we play at;
8:30am at Kelley #1 vs. Marick Gators...please be there NO LATER than 7:30. We have already tied them and was during that 1st tournament so let's get a W.
2nd game is at Bahnsen Park #2 vs. Beatrice at 1:30...please be there NO LATER than 12:30. They are a good team but we're better! THERE WILL NOT BE A CONCESSION STAND AT BAHNSEN so please make sure you plan accordingly...something light to eat before the game should suffice.
Saturday we will wear Grey pants and Royal top, Sunday we will wear our new BABY BLUES and white pants...we will get the jerseys passed out soon!
*** Tomorrow, practice is at Trendwood at 6pm. Please have the boys wear their new practice jersey, baseball pants and their Royals hat.
***Our triangular that we had scheduled with the Diamond Kings and Beatrice is still on but Beatrice has backed out and Bellevue has taken their spot.
***We will be hosting a Poker Night at the Rusty Nail, date TBD soon via Wyndle. We are also thinking about some awesome prizes to raffle off; of course that is TBD as well...anyone have any ideas, please let us know...all of this to raise some cash for our boys!
***Royals game and fundraiser- tickets are $9 each and the raffle tickets are $5 each....please see the email from Wyndle for details. The $5 raffle is pretty awesome. StormChasers are donating every penny of that $5 back to the organization...could be big for the entire Omaha Royals family.
I hope that game on Monday is out of our system. Brent and I will NEVER get upset at physical errors because baseball is a mistake driven game. The best player to EVER PLAY for on base less than 40% of the time. Anywhere else in life, if you're successful 40% of the time you probably won't be around very long.

***If you have not given Kim $20 for the jersey and practice shirt, please do so as soon as you can. You can make the check out to Deremer Sportswear. Also, a StormChaser rep will be at Trendwood on May 10th to collect $$$ for the StormChaser game. $9 per ticket and $5 per fundraising ticket. Kim will also be collecting this money. You can pay her before that if you'd like; as she will be taking the lead on this as well and it's easier to just pay 1 person.
